It took me a while to understand what this release is about, but it finally came to me. The way that I feel when doing this and listening to the music is like the transition of the leaves from summer to fall. They are green and full of life, but just as it happens every year, the inevitable comes. The leaves explode so quickly into shades of yellow, orange and red. Seemingly from one day to the next. There is a fight to hang on. A desperation to cling to the branches. Then the descent happens and the wind picks up, taking the leaves with it in for a final swan song. We make our way, finally, to the ground. We accept our fate. We let go. We allow ourselves to rest.
