Power(60min) | 9.3.24 | Emilie
Today we break down the 3 newest tracks in our Heaven and Fire themed playlist Ignite, Self-Destruction Mode, and Kryptonite.
Ignite is focused on working the inner thighs with a straight leg crossing the midline out of tabletop position. We also work the gluteus medius with side knees.
Self-Destruction Mode has us practicing hip lifts, roll ups, and working our hollow body positioning. Find your goldilocks zone with the arm and leg reaches that challenges you while you maintain great posture through the torso. Keep the back neutral and in contact with the mat the whole time.
Kryptonite incorporates the same kick through movement found in our earlier track Confession that is inspired by Turkish Get Ups. These kick throughs are so good for us. They require lots of control, coordination, mobility, and strength, and help us become better at getting off the floor. This movement will help us maintain our longevity.
