We are deeply honored to share this video- a collection of our community’s shared experience during what had been one of the most challenging years of our lives. Brene Brown writes: “Collective assembly meets the primal human yearnings for shared social experiences. A collective assembly can start to heal the wounds of a traumatized community. When we come together to share authentic joy, hope, and pain, we melt the pervasive cynicism that often cloaks our better human nature.” Some of us gathered to film these videos in small groups, some of us danced in isolation, some behind masks, some outdoors, but most importantly we knew we weren’t alone as we danced. Brene's research in Braving the Wilderness proved to us that music is one of the most powerful conveners of collective joy and pain. We are so incredibly grateful for P!nk’s song “I am Here.” We hope that she can know the wide and deep impact of her music and how it continues to bring us back to ourselves and to each other.
