My name is Brittany. I was born and raised in Missoula, MT. My Oula journey began the summer of 2016 when my friend took me to my first Oula class. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I felt a sigh of relief when the instructor said, "It's not about how it looks, it's about how it feels". Once we started moving I was hooked. I became an instructor in January 2019.
My Oula One journey is a little different. I'd participate in One every now and then but couldn't get into the feeling of slowing down. I had "golden retriever energy". Until one day in 2019 I went through a heartbreak. I gave myself two decisions- either lay in my bed and cry or go to Oula One to move around and cry. I chose option two. I cried the whole hour but felt safe doing it in the space I was in. Allowing me to come as my raw self. The instructor and other participants were there for me as well. After that, I was a regular showing up to classes every week. I went through the Oula One Empowerment Weekend in 2022 and certified as an instructor three months later. My goal as an instructor is to provide a safe space (near and far) for you as it did for me. To show up for yourself and come as you are.
