Searching for something beyond the typical workout, Oula brought Jan and Melissa together in 2019 at a Training and Empowerment Weekend. A world apart from their restrictive day jobs they found their happy place in Oula and Power classes. They have taught together and apart ever since!
2020 brought many challenges for the world. As gyms and studios shut down, they dug in to certify for Power virtually. As instructors, Power has brought more diverse, fun, and creative options for strength workouts in their community. Energetic, hilarious, and encouraging; their personalities and teaching styles make them a dynamic duo. Even though they are different in many ways, there are some basic things they always agree on. If you ask either of them, they’ll say they have a healthy obsession for getting up insanely early in the morning for 3 things: cardio, conditioning, and COFFEE!
