OULA was founded by mother, choreographer, and all-around badass, Kali Lindner. A firm believer in the power of experience over exercise, Kali delivers an exhilarating mind/body practice that ignites spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical magic. The result is a transformative approach to intentional wellness that’s FUN!

The energy out there and inside of myself feels all messed up right now. A pandemic + a highly emotional and important election is like a 1-2 gut punch. All of this is amplifying the sensations of fear. Of separatism. Are you feeling that too? So we gotta do what we gotta do! Move that yuck through the body and transmute it into good juju to share! (Do you also see a Carebear with light beams shooting from its chest?)
So today's playlist is all about HOPE.
We start by setting our intention (Hope for Something, Connection). We ask for resiliency among the collective and across party lines (Don't Give Up on Me) and speak our needs (I Need Your Love). We express how we're feeling (Sweet Nothing "you give me nothing!") and our resentments (Don't Let Me Down). Then we get to the real root of our fears and feelings and address our pain (Shadow). Once shine light into those dark places, the only way to go is up, which takes a whole lot of faith (Believer). In seeing our own shadow and pain, we can see the pain of others and we know we must rebuild together (For the Love). We then take a lesson from Ram Dass -- 'we're all just walking each other home' (Walk Me Home) through the dark night. The Sun Comes Up with the return of light and we can see the greater story that is at play (So Much More than This). In this bigger story, one of love and oneness, we together will rise up (Underdog).
xo, Kali
