Lose Yourself! That’s one of our vault tracks in the list this week, and that’s the idea of this class. Lose yourself in the music. Let go of your ideas about what you should be able to do. Let go of thinking about the past, the future, and most of the present. Let go of the present except for this very moment, and how it feels to be in it. This class is a like a dance. Some of it is down on the mat, some of it is standing up, and different songs ask you focus on different parts of your body. But it’s all still like dancing, and dancing to some banging rhythms that make you feel tough and strong, no matter what moves you do. I will give you all the modifications so you can do this in whatever intensity you like. Because the intensity you choose doesn’t matter. What matters is finding the strength you already have—we ALL have it--and tapping into it. THAT’s what feels good. That feels strong. That feels like you’ve got this, whatever it is. Come do this badass dance with me. You are so much stronger than you even think you are, and when you figure that out, it feels just fantastic. Here’s the playlist:

Nancy credits Oula Power with giving her courage and grit, not to mention a sense of being just a bit bada**, something she believes everyone needs in this life. It all started when Nancy found Oula in 2020 at the Billings YMCA. That led her to Studio Soul, and she knew she had found her people. With the help of the fabulous instructors there she certified as an Oula instructor herself and, not long after that, as an Oula Power instructor. She now draws strength, love and joy from every Oula class, every single time.
