The journey of this playlist feels both very personal and also universal, and it’s the story of the climate crisis we all find ourselves in. For the past 20 years, I have had a nagging feeling, followed by a deepening fear and now something that teeters between anger and sadness for both the past and the future, while trying to maintain gratitude, hope and acceptance for what is. I’m guessing some of you can relate to the wave of emotions that come as we ourselves experience record heat, fires and flooding, bear witness to our fellow humans suffering from the effects of loss of home + job, read new stories predicting what the future looks like as a warming world… and also enjoy the warmth of the sun’s rays, look forward to the future, place hope in technology, and trust the greater story.
