Katie dropped into her first Oula class during a visit to Missoula in 2013 and was immediately hooked. She spent the next decade moving around a lot but kept dancing thanks to the amazing instructors in the Oula Online Studio. Having recently moved back to Missoula, she’s excited to now be sharing her own classes with those who live in places without in-person Oula (yet!). Katie’s favorite Oula moments are when she gets to play in the shadows with her monsters. Sometimes that means rolling her hips at the “you’re not sexy” beast, high kicking at the “you’re not powerful” giant, or hugging the “you’re not lovable” sprite. She’s found the best way to face her fears is to dance them right out the door!
