Check out the book The Power of Full Engagement by Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz. They discuss the importance of managing our energy, not our time. The book categorizes our energy into 4 types: physical energy, emotional energy, mental energy, and spiritual energy. Rest and recovery are important for all 4 categories! When we overtrain physically, we can get injured or sick. When we undertrain physically, we atrophy and get weak. We face similar consequences in all 4 energy categories.
This is it! We’ve made it to the final three tracks of our newest release all about money, money, money. We will be doing Bad Credit, My Bad, and Dive with breakdowns and explanations.
Bad credit is a fun lower body track with lots of singable lyrics. This track is going to help stabilize our hips and improve the strength of our gluteus medius. My favorite of the exercises is the leg pulses straight out in front of our bodies.
I had My Bad on repeat when I first discovered it. My Bad Challenges our core with a lot of oblique side work to include oblique crunches, ankle taps, side plank hip dips, and the Pilates 100.
Dive is our cool down with four main exercises: 9090 knees, half frog stretches, thread the needle, and half split stretch. We did a lot of lower body work in this release so we have a lot of lower body stretches to help our hip mobility.

In 2016, Emilie was teaching a HIIT class and decided to stick around for the next class called Oula. She loved it! When she discovered there was another version of Oula called Power , YEESSSS!
