One of the ideas explored is that if something is worthwhile doing, it is better to do it poorly than not at all. What? What do you mean? Shouldn't we always try to do something well, to do our best?

It reminded me of the phrase don't let perfect be the enemy, or don't let perfect be the enemy of good enough.

The example for these ideas was brushing our teeth. It's better to brush our teeth poorly daily, than to not brush them at all. And a lot of times when we do something repeatedly we get better at that thing! A lot of times as adults we struggle to try something new. We don't like being bad at anything. We don't let ourselves be bad at things. We don't try new things. But Oula welcomes us to come as we are.

In this workout, if you feel like strength exercise is intimidating, give yourself a break! Focus on what you can do. Don't worry about what you can't do. Enjoy the music and the movements and feel strong with me.
